HTC Titan 2
The HTC Titan II is going to run on the LTE network for AT&T. The HTC Titan II has a very unique design which simply came from the previous Thunderbolt. The battery pack on the phone is easily removable and it slides right off the back. The battery on the HTC Titan II has grown by a fair bit as it increased to 1730mAh from the previous 1600mAh. The device itself runs on the latest version of Windows Phone, and has a decent number of added features. One thing that will amaze you about the smart phone is the detail on the pictures taken by the camera. Depending on the lighting you are in, the quality of the pictures will vary. The price point on the device has not yet been fixed, but it will be announced when AT&T confirms stock.
The back side of the mobile device is much like other HTC smart phones as it still has the signature textured cover, along with the large center camera lens. As many of you already know, the HTC Titan II is the predecessor to the HTC Titan which came out several months ago. There are two major differences on the new version of the phone; the addition of LTE network capabilities and the 16MP on focus camera, as opposed to the 8MP camera on the previous version. The 8MP camera on the previous version was amazing, but this is going to be even better for most of us. There is also an addition of dual LED, which gives each snapshot that extra flare it needs.
As discussed before, the phone itself is running Windows Phone Mango and includes a micro USB port on the left side, a little microphone on the bottom, volume rocker and a camera button on the right and a second microphone, headphone jack and power button at the top. You have a front facing camera at the top right hand corner, with the standard Windows keys at the bottom. The SIM card compartment is very easy to access, as you simply take off a small cover on the back. The one thing many people didn’t like about the HTC Titan II is the fact that you cannot remove the battery. The screen itself has a wide viewing angle as well as a fully touch screen LCD panel. The HTC Titan II is the first LTE based phone on any single network in North America.
